Hi, I am Richmond, a Data Analyst from Accra, Ghana. I love watching football (soccer), playing table tennis, and watching videos related to data science and analytics. Recently, I have developed a huge interest in reading, which I am enjoying a lot.

My passion for Data Science/Analytics stems from my love for football statistics. During my time at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as an undergraduate statistics student, I loved football a lot and whenever I went to watch games, I always wanted to have a look at the numbers that came after the games, trying to see if whatever I saw in the game is being reflected by these statistics. I was amazed at how mere numbers could explain physical occurrences. This led me to pursue a career in Data Science/Analytics.

Professionally, I’ve gained over two years of experience working in diverse data roles. As a Data Analyst Trainee at Azubi Africa, I examined data from the Indian startup ecosystem, identifying funding trends, and collaborated on building machine learning models to predict customer churn with over 85% accuracy. I also developed a Streamlit app for model deployment and worked on time series forecasting models for sales predictions.

Previously, at Pharmanova Limited, I cleaned and analyzed data for about 90 pharmaceutical products with 95% accuracy, contributing to significant operational efficiency. I also supported management with pricing strategies based on data insights. At Weija-Gbawe Municipal Health Directorate, I played a pivotal role in data quality initiatives, validating and correcting discrepancies in healthcare data, and ensuring high accuracy during COVID-19 vaccination data entry.

I am proficient in tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel, with a proven track record of transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. I am excited to continue growing in the field, leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive success.
